Calendar Introduction....
John Stanley’s has been providing care services to people in the community, residential homes, day centres, Primary Care Trust’s and hospitals etc since 1989.
In 1998 to celebrate 10 years of providing care services we wanted to create a memorable accolade that included our Service Users, Care Workers and of course our Company. Our Care Calendar was the result and the celebration started. Many residential homes and day centres use the Calendar as an annual art project and many individuals look forward to having their creative side displayed and judged. The only rules of our competition are that people receive a Care Service. They do not have to receive it from John Stanley’s, nor do they have to receive “formal” care. Many items of art produced are created at home with the support and encouragement of their friends and family.
The most wonderful experience is the artist face when it is announced they are winners, we are lucky enough to make 12 people happy every year that their fine work will be produced. Please check our Latest News for information about upcoming events.
Care Calendar Competition Winners
Since 1989 we have had hundreds of entrants and we would like to thank them so much for their wonderful efforts and hard work, which ranged from poems, pottery, sculptures and paintings.
Choosing winners is an incredibly difficult task, as people’s ability and skills are so diverse. Consequently we decide to ask the public to vote, therefore, a special thank you to everyone who always takes the time to vote for his or her favourites!
We would like to say a huge thank you to all our winners over the years on their fabulous artwork, although everyone who entered should think of himself or herself as a winner. It never ceases to amaze us all the breathtaking efforts of the people who are generous enough to allow us to share their hard work. We would love to publish everything we receive!

Although primarily sponsored by John Stanley’s Care Agency Ltd additional funding is always needed to help cover the cost of Calendar. Without sponsors we would be unable to continue to produce this Calendar.
