Domiciliary Care Services.....
From time to time in a persons life it may be necessary to have assistance with certain day-to-day tasks and activities. You may be an Older Person or, an Adult with a Disability or illness; our homecare service is designed with you in mind.
This service could be ongoing according to your needs or you may just require assistance as a temporary measure to cover an episode of ill health, or recovering from an operation; any of these things can have an effect on your ability to manage certain tasks. If this is the case it could well be that John Stanley’s have the answer. We have been successfully delivering care within peoples own homes for many years and have received excellent reports from our regulatory body the Commission for Social Care Inspection, please follow this link to CSCI to view the report. We hold contracts with many social services and local authority teams.
The ethos of care we work towards is person centred and outcome based at all times. Outcome based Care is based on the governments initiative to modernise the services, which are provided to individuals within their home. Traditionally Home Care services were provided by telling individuals how and when they could have the services, leaving very little room for choice. We aim to help create a support plan that meets your expectations and assists you to reach the outcomes that will make a difference. Because of our well-established background in care we are able to provide you with a comprehensive care service within your own home, which is flexible and responsive.
Personal Services
We can offer help with;
- Bathing or showering.
- Assistance with washing and dressing.
- Meal preparation.
- Prompting of medication.
- Assisting to the toilet during the day.
- Preparation for bed.
Practical Services
Do you find yourself struggling with tasks such as?
- Shopping visits? We can either take your list and perform this task for you or, accompany you to the shops.
- Bill Paying? This can be incorporated into your shopping visit or be conducted as a service on its own.
- General Household Duties? This will include vacuuming and light housework.
- Personal Laundry? This can either be done at your own house or we can visit the launderette.
In addition we also provide,

- Hospital, Doctors, Dentist, Chiropodists Appointments?
- Social visits? Visiting friends, attending functions etc
We can arrange for an experienced care worker to accompany you.

What is my first step?
Initially contact us and we will arrange for one of our reviewing officers, at a time convenient to you, to conduct a free assessment of your care needs. We would encourage you to have a person of your choice with you during your assessment.
